Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Pesastra are screened for similarity before they enter the peer-review process. The journal uses Turnitin as a similarity-detection tool. The maximum similarity index permitted for a submitted manuscript is 20 percent.

A similarity score is assessed in context and is not the sole basis for an editorial decision. Properly quoted material, references, standard methodological language, and legitimate reuse that has been clearly cited will be evaluated carefully. Manuscripts that show substantial unattributed overlap, plagiarism, duplicate publication, or other unethical textual reuse may be returned for revision, rejected, or investigated under the journal’s Research Misconduct Policy.
